Art, Sushi and a vibe… this the promise of Artezian, one of the newer residents on Bree Street. They describe Artezian as “dynamic and ever-evolving”. All the art lining the walls, proudly South African we might add, as well as the furniture is for sale. This creates a transitional space where patrons have a different experience each and every time. With Devils Peak as a backdrop and the “hidden” downstairs area, Artezian should be at the top of your “date spots” list.
Now let’s talk about food and drinks. First-rate Chef? Check. Talented Mixologist? Check. Chef Danny put together a menu of carefully selected dishes to delight the taste buds. The dishes are best enjoyed when paired with one of the cocktails by the skilled Roxanne Read.
Honouring their dynamic mindset, they have recently adopted a light and dark room concept. Starting with the light room on the ground floor, you can then slowly make your way down to the ‘dark room’ where a newly installed cigar lounge awaits you.
After dinner, the resident DJ Erefaan Pearce hit the decks and the lounge area turns into a dance floor from around 21:30. You can expect to hear a mix of vibrant house music, Hip Hop, dance and many others.
