Emerging Fashion brands Pot Plant Club & Leaf Apparel find a new home

Pot Plant Club is a multi-brand clothing boutique located in the heart of the Upper Bree district. It offers a unique selection of local and international brands and products whilst providing a sustainable retail solution to small and medium enterprises. They are passionate about playing a role in the development of the community and help small brands grow whilst providing an additional home to brands that are more established and become part of their respective stories. 

You cannot say Pot Plant Club without mentioning Leaf Apparel. Salik Harris, part owner of Pot Plant Club established his skate affiliated brand, Leaf Apparel in 2011. After working in clothing stores his entire teenage life and love for the end product motivated him to learn more about the clothes making process. His passion for the craft influenced him to manufacture all the products in-house at his studio in the Mother City. This also allows him to maintain a certain level of quality as he can run the samples “over and over until it is fit for the market” according to Salik in this session magazine article.

As for the name, it was originally meant to be a a Leaf Apparel store but because it houses different brands they settled on Pot Plant Club, which was originally a clothing line within the Leaf Apparel brand.
